We are well aware that for a small minority gambling represents a behavioural problem and that we have a responsibility to continue to refine our systems and training so that we can avoid exacerbating the problem and direct bettors towards appropriate help. We remain ever vigilant for the betting patterns that alert us to compulsive gambling.

 

Similarly, the company will never knowingly allow under age gambling and incorporates safeguards into our systems specifically designed to exclude under age use.

Money laundering

Leisure & Gaming has instigated international best practice Know Your Customer policies and structures as we seek to eradicate any money laundering activity from our websites.

Legality

Leisure & Gaming, through its trading companies, operates under betting and gaming licences from the Netherlands Antilles, Romania, Cyprus and Italy. The company does not have a physical presence in any territory where betting and gaming are illegal or unlicensed.

 

However, the global reach of the internet inevitably means that our online entertainment can be accessed from jurisdictions with widely differing attitudes to the legality of internet gaming. Given that we cannot constantly monitor the legal status of gambling in each state in each country worldwide, it must be each customer’s responsibility to satisfy themself that local law does not prohibit them from placing a bet via the internet nor Leisure & Gaming from receiving that bet.

Tax

Unless applicable law requires, we do not disclose details of an individual’s net winnings or losses to local taxation authorities. It is the responsibility of the customer to report any taxable winnings.
